The Ghana European Youth Congress (GEYC) is a non-denominational, all inclusive Ghanaian NGO based in Belgium. GEYC became relevant through the selfless commitment and compassion of a group of Ghanaians who saw and felt the plight of Ghanaians in Europe and put their ideas, resources and strength together to see to the wellbeing of Ghanaians in Europe and around the world. As a brand on the rise, GEYC organizes spectacular annual events in Belgium and other neighbouring countries like Italy, Holland, Austria and so on. Such shows include the Miss Ghana Belgium project, African Wear Dinner Party/ Legends Legacy Awards, Face of Africa, Face of Africa, talk shows to name a few. Our vision is to unite and empower Ghanaians across the globe to be the best and initiate a positive change wherever they find themselves.

Our hope was to make a difference in our Ghanaian movie industry and also to bring a change in the Ghanaian communities in Belgium and across Europe,in 2013 we made it in 4 solid countries including Belgium.2014 we were expecting to cut across 6 countries. It has never been easy and smooth for us but what kept us going was that someday we may succeed and I still believe so. IS NOT EASY TO MAKE A CHANGE IN THE GHANAIAN COMMUNITIES in Europe but one day our struggles will definitely bring the change. IS JUST A MATTER OF TIME AND MORE HARD WORK. I RIP MR. ERIC ASANTE.
